Moving...

Oh goodness, I dislike packing!

But with the help of my good friend Janet, who came to help me as my motivation was waning low, I'm pretty much finished packing all my stuff now.

In Korea, there's a huge deposit for apartments. Rent is generally reasonable, but deposit money range usually start around $5,000 to about $10,000 for a one room apartment or a business style "officetel." You get this money back when you leave the apartment, but it's still a hefty sum of money to scrape up - at least for me.

But I think everything's working out OK. I just have to keep my budget tight until I've got enough "safety" money again.

I'm really excited to get out this basement apartment and actually get some sunlight and a view in my new place!
